Heat Check

Heat Check is a high-end, fashion forward Vintage Store located at 5518 Walnut St, Pittsburgh, PA 15232. (https://www.shopheatcheck.com/)

Heat Check was founded by Brandon _____. In 2019, he opened their shop out of a garage in Homestead, Pa. As their fanbase grew, they added the Heat Check Cafe featuring coffee provided by another local entrepreneur, Q ____, who is the owner of the Boredom Set. This combination of coffee and vintage instantly became a hit amongst college students and fashion fans alike.

Recently, they opened a store on the infamous Walnut St. in Shadyside. The store is extremely popular in the area and their fanbase is growing every single day. 

Our athlete, Dae Dae Grant was blessed to collaborate with them to promote their store to local Duquesne Students. Dae Dae received $150 store credit and highlighted the store's diverse selection of clothes, unique interior design, and most importantly, their affordability. 

To give back, Dae Dae also gave one of Heat Check's "Vintage Saves" crewnecks to a student on campus.
